Positive: We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Cambodia and its lovely people. From a seamless airport pick up to a beautiful, big room to the most friendly staff, Angkor Eden is one of the best! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Chhoun, the manager, was super welcoming and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed learning so much about Cambodian history and Buddhism from him. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer! We were a little worried about the far away location at first but the neighbourhood is super safe and lovely with some convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. To get into the city, it’s just a $2 tuk tuk with a local driver (much better to do this over Grab!). Overall, we loved our stay here. A perfect oasis away from the hustle of the main town but easy enough to get to city and the temples. They also offer tours from the hotel, simply WhatsApp them to organise in advance!
